Designed with people living with diabetes in mind, each HypoPak pouch provides a measured 30g of glucose in an 80 ml liquid format that's easy to carry, store and keep close at hand.

HypoPak contains glucose (dextrose) in a simple, ready to drink form, rather than relying on something containing a mixture of sugars or more complex carbohydrates. that first need to be broken down to get the desired dextrose.

No chewing, measuring, dissolving or mixing required.

The resealable spouted pouch is designed to be practical wherever you need to keep a measured source of glucose available at home, at work, while traveling, during sport or in your everyday bag.

HypoPak was developed with people living with diabetes in mind.  particularly those who want a convenient, portable way to keep a measured amount of glucose close at hand.

Why Glucose? 
Glucose is a simple sugar, also known as a monosaccharide. Unlike foods containing combinations of sugars or more complex carbohydrates, HypoPak uses dextrose monohydrate as its glucose source. And is designed around one simple idea: a known amount of glucose, in a convenient to consume way. 

Why a longer acting carbohydrate?
Fast acting glucose is used to raise blood glucose quickly. In some situations, a source of longer acting carbohydrate may also be recommended to help provide a more sustained source of carbohydrate afterwards.

This can be particularly relevant when the next meal is still some time away, or where a person's usual diabetes management plan includes follow-up carbohydrate after treating a hypo.

The biscuit included in the HypoPak 30g Kit provides 20g of longer acting carbohydrate, giving you both a measured source of glucose and a convenient follow-up carbohydrate in one individually packaged kit.
